Model UN:Model United Nations is an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly, UN Security Council, or other multilateral body, which introduces students to the world of diplomacy, negotiation, and decision making. At Model UN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors of countries that are members of the UN . Clara Barton Open School students enjoy participating in this simulation.

Global Peacebuilding Center: Through multimedia exhibits, educational programs, and online resources and activities, the Global Peacebuilding Center seeks to engage the next generation of peace builders.The Global Peace Club Starter Kit equips young people with a framework to commit to the work of peace building, learn about conflict management, lead peace building efforts in their own community, and spread awareness about the importance of building peace. There are several peace site schools in Minneapolis and this site will provide the students resources and strategies to continue their skill development in global peace negotiation.
